There are two ways to search our collections.
You can look at 500 selected objects from the collections.

There are 100 objects each for archaeology, art, costume and jewellery, Cheltenham, and world cultures.

You can seach our collections database here, where you will find more than 1500 records for the Arts and Crafts Movement collection, the Emery Walker Library, the Edward Wilson collection, and our local history and archaeology collections.

Limitations of space and the fragile nature of some of the Museum's objects mean that not everything is on show. The items that are kept in store may be seen by appointment. Please make a note of the accession number, found at the end of the object description, and contact us if you wish to see a particular object.

Try searching on periods such as Neolithic, Romano-British, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval, or on object types like pottery, flint, tile or brooch.
