Edward Wilson, Antarctic Collections project (part of New Expressions 2) Exhibition at the Garden’s gallery showing work by Neville and Joan Gabie inspired by Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum’s Antarctic collections and Wilson Family archive. The exhibition will include some related Antarctic material from the collection.

Neville Gabie is a Gloucestershire artist with a national reputation having completed projects throughout the UK. He has also been artist in residence for the British Antarctic Survey/Arts Council Artists in Antarctica programme.

The project is part of New Expressions 2, an Arts Council/Museums, Libraries and Archives funded artist commission project involving 6 museums across the South West)

Unveiling of Plaques at College, Westal and the Promenade. Walk, leaving College at 13.00, arrive at Westal at 13.25, arrive at Wilson statue in The Promenade at 13.55, rededication of the Statue at 14.00. All open to the public. The walk starts at 11.00 from The Tourist Office on The Promenade and finishes at 12.30 at Cheltenham College. Free but booking is required through Cheltenham Tourist Office.
